Chapter 251 Visiting
Chapter 251 Visiting
The carriage rolled forward through the streets at a steady pace. Roman had no idea where his parents were staying, and this would be his first time visiting them since moving.
He rested his head against the window, quietly watching the people outside. Since they were still in the noble district, the streets were fairly empty, with only a few people walking around.
The trip didn't take long, and before he knew it, the carriage slowed down and finally came to a stop in front of a fairly large compound.
Roman couldn't believe what he was seeing, sure he knew his family would be placed in a comfortable home, but he never knew it would be this big.
A black gate stood before them, and slowly it was opened to reveal the inside of the compound.
As the carriage continued forward, Roman couldn't help but look around; it was far bigger than he was expecting and even more beautiful now that he was inside.
A wide stone path stretched from the gate to the main building, with neatly trimmed bushes on both sides; slightly tall trees lined the road, and Roman noticed a knight sitting beside the door.
Soon, the carriage stopped in front of the main building, and the rider stepped down and opened the carriage door.
"We've arrived," She spoke as she bowed her head slightly before walking back to the front.
Roman nodded and stepped out of the carriage, closing the door behind him. He stood still for a moment, still taking in the new environment, when the door to the main building was suddenly flung open.
*BANG!*
"ROMAN!!" Anya came sprinting out of the mansion as fast as her legs could carry her. Roman barely had time to react before she threw herself at him.
Roman responded, wrapping his hands around her back. He had definitely missed her sweet scent, and when she pulled away, she placed a kiss on Roman's lips.
"I've missed you," she said, placing her face right on his chest again.
"I've missed you too," Roman replied.
It hadn't been that long, but he wasn't going to spoil the sweet reunion he had going, and then Roman lifted his head as he noticed someone standing in front of the door.
A smile formed on his face as he saw two beautiful women staring back at him. Amelia and Fiona stood at the door with smiles on their faces. Amelia was glad to see her son, while Fiona was overjoyed to see Roman. She hadn't seen him since he left the village, and even though she was staying here now, she wasn't allowed into the Royal Palace.
Roman gently pulled away from Anya, taking a few steps forward, and Amelia walked over to him.
"I'm glad you're safe," Amelia said as she pulled Roman into a hug.
Now Roman knew he was finally home; her familiar flora scent, coupled with the fact that two pairs of jugs were pushing against his chest. Roman wrapped her hands around her, but instead of her back, his hands went downward as he grabbed both of her ass.
Amelia couldn't help but smile; no matter what happened, Roman still found her sexy. Nothing could give her more happiness than that.
Their hug lasted for some seconds before she finally pulled away. Then he turned towards Fiona, who was already beside him. She made no move or attempt to hug Roman even though she wanted to, since this was their reunion; she didn't want to intrude.
But Roman stretched his hands and wrapped them around Fiona; he knew she was carrying his child, and it was only a month, so it wasn't visible yet.
After their pleasantries, the four of them walked inside the main building with Anya holding Roman's hand.
The inside of the building was even more impressive than the outside. As Roman stepped in, he found himself in a large living area. It was spacious and neatly decorated, with comfortable chairs arranged in the center for guests.
On one side of the room was a large dining table, big enough for the entire family and a few guests to eat together.
The house only had a single floor, so there were no stairs inside, but to the left of the living area was a hallway; along the hallway were four bedrooms, two on each side, with two bathrooms at the end.
On the opposite side of the living area was the kitchen, and Roman could already perceive the aroma of the food being prepared, and it occurred to him that he was actually very hungry.
"This is a very beautiful place," Roman muttered, and Amelia nodded.
"It was given to us by the Queen, and we have servants now, four of them," Amelia replied in a barely audible voice. She still wasn't used to the fact that they had servants.
"So how have you guys been? And Fiona, how was your journey to the capital?" Roman asked.
"We've been well, still getting used to this big house," Amelia replied.
"My journey was great. Amelia told me you invited me to come stay in the capital. I can't thank you enough. I like the village and all, but I needed a change," Fiona replied.
"We should go check on the food," Amelia said before walking away with Fiona behind her. The atmosphere was getting a bit gloomy, and they didn't want to start asking Roman questions since he had just arrived.
"Do you want to see my room?" Anya asked as they were now alone.
"Sure," Roman replied and was led away to the room at the far end of the hallway, just before the bathroom, and she pushed the door open.
"Wow, it's beautiful, and look at all these paintings, wait... Is that you?" Roman chuckled as he walked towards the wall where a portrait of Anya was hung.
"Yes, we each have one in our rooms, even Fiona," Anya replied, standing behind Roman.
"You look so beautiful. Maybe one time we should do a family portrait; that would be a nice way to..."
Anya's lips crashed into Roman the moment he turned around; without wasting a second, she wrapped her hands around his body.
