Falling for My Billionaire Best Friend

Chapter 66- REUNION TRINITY

Chapter 66- REUNION TRINITY

SPECIAL

"Oh, my God!" Camila's eyes widened at her three-year-old boy running towards the kids on the expansive lawn. "Look at your son, Pyke."

"Like father like son." Pyke grinned proudly at his wife across the round table.

"It's not even funny." She chuckled, maintaining her cool even if she looked annoyed at her husband.

"He's just a kid, babe. Chill. When he grows up-"

"He'll be worse than his father, banging-"

"Hey." He stopped Bash. "I'm a fully pledged one woman now-no need to trip down embarrassing memory lane. My kid will be the best version of himself when he grows up. Trust me. As if-"

"Bash was a Hughes' golden boy, cousin," it was Xandry.

"And you are the devil version of him." Blaine rolled her eyes at his husband as she set down her strawberry daiquiri.

"That was the stupid and old version of myself. I might have never changed if I didn't go to that town with Pyke. I admit that." Xandry leaned over to kiss the side of Blaine's head.

"I know." She glanced at Xandry with awe in her blue eyes. "And I'm proud of you."

"No kissing your cousin!" Camila yelled at her son as if Cameron would understand and listen to her. Cameron just grabbed the head of Xandry's girl and smacked the chubby cheek with a kiss.

"I swear I can hear it from here." Blaine laughed out loud. "You shouldn't kiss in front of your kid, silly parents."

"Why not? He should see that his parents love each other," Pyke said.

"Agreed."

"We don't kiss like that in front of our kid." Camila narrowed her eyes at Xandry.

"Us too. And Camm is just a kid. That's how he shows how much he loves the friendship of his cousins," I said this time. "There's no malice in that."

"Look?"

We looked where Pyke pinned his gaze at the kids hugging each other like big guys, patting their backs.

"See? My child receives enough love and affection from us," Pyke said proudly at Camila.

"Of course, he does. He's my everything."

"Now, he's your everything, huh?"

"Oh, my god. Don't tell me you're jealous of the love and affection she's giving to your son, silly boy." I stared at Pyke.

His eyebrow raised at me. "Of course not."

"When was the last time you two had mind-blowing sex since Camm was born?"

Cam and Pyke looked at each other, more amused than ever. I shouldn't have asked, knowing Pyke's reputation, but that was ages ago.

My bad. Xandry and Blaine were already red, trying to contain their laughter.

"Oh, my god! Did- did you- Oh, my god! Jeez!" I gulped the remaining Appletini I had.

"Next time, never ask about their frenzied sex life, baby."

"I'll keep that in mind," I replied my husband. "Then are you jealous of Camm?"

"I am not. I want to have another baby. Congrats to both of you."

"Thanks. Then make one."

"What do you think we've been doing for the past three years?"

"Oh?" Blaine was beyond surprised as well.

"Yeah. I'm stressing out. We both are healthy. We even visited a fertility doctor and did everything to conceive, but so far, no luck. We even considered an IVF."

"Look, Cam." I held her hand. "Don't overthink. Don't even think about it. Just enjoy the sex, and enjoy your life with your family. Go on a trip as if it's a vacation, get drunk, dance, and never even focus on making a baby. Do what you wanna do, what you enjoy most. Think of it just like a regular day. When you're not overthinking it, it will just happen. Trust me."

"Yeah. Maybe that's what I should do."

"I told you, babe. I want to have another kid, but you've made it a big deal as if it's your quest."

"I'm just scared." Camila started to feel emotional. She looked up when she went weepy.

"Of what?" Pyke asked.

We sat in tense silence around the table, watching Pyke and Camila talk to each other.

"That you might get tired, and she couldn't give you what you want," Blaine answered. "She's been stressing it. Bianca told me."

"Jesus, babe." He leaned over, took Camila's face in his hands, looked deeply into her eyes, then kissed her. It was a sweet, tender, and short passionate kiss, but I could feel in my bones what Pyke was trying to make Camila feel.

I sighed deeply in awe at my best friends.

"I don't want anything other than you and Camm in my life. You both are my world, my everything. You mean more than anything to me that I couldn't live without both of you. I may feel jealous, sometimes- when you were taking care of Camm- and you tended to ignore what I said, but I get it. He is our son. He's our priority, and I love you more for that. You just wanted to give what you never had when you were a kid."

"I know. I'm sorry," Camila apologized without hesitation. I knew deep in my heart she wanted to give everything to Pyke-that was how much she loved this man in front of us.

They gazed at each other for a moment.

"Please never apologize, babe." His voice was rough and thick, almost broken. "Why do I want another baby? I want him to experience having a little sister or a little brother, just like what I have and Parker and you and Kyland. I want him to grow up with someone looking out for him and vice versa. But no rush-"

"She may have felt that you might cheat on her and knock up someone to get what you want-"

Xandry covered his wife's mouth. "TMI, Sweetheart."

"What?" Pyke glared at Xandry. Then he looked back at his wife. "You felt that way?"

"She didn't say that. I just added it up." Blaine still liked to annoy Pyke. After all these years, we'd been together as families and friends.

"I would never cheat on you, Camila." He narrowed his eyes at his wife.

"Well, if it ever crossed your mind, you know what I'm capable of." She raised her brow, challenging him.

"No doubt, babe. And I still remember the awful feeling. And it would never happen even if my dick and balls fell off between my legs."

"What's a dick, Uncle Pyke?"

We are all like deers caught in the headlights. We froze as my girl Rain asked behind Pyke. I bit my lip because we had never talked like that in front of our kids. That was our number one rule.

Blaine managed to smile at Rain. "Hey, sweetie." She was an expert in handling kids with her magic words. "It's a big guys thing. Kids are not allowed to say and hear it because mommy and daddy will feel bad and get tummy ached when they do."

"Oh, I see." She grabbed her tumbler and left us. Everyone managed to release a sigh simultaneously.

"Sorry about that. I didn't notice her coming over here."

"Thanks for the save, Blaine."

"Anything for this family. My family." Her smile was contagious.

"That's why I love this family. I love you all, guys."

We girls sobbed like crazy as we looked at our gorgeous men. We maybe not be perfect couples, but we always deal with our differences and issues-big or small before they get too complicated. Communication was essential in relationships-dysfunctional or not. And that was why we were families and friends-we helped each other. I was just so lucky to have these people I could call family.

What can I say? I get the best thing in the world. They are the most beautiful family I have ever had.
